Data minimisation

We ask only for what the platform genuinely needs. Registration requires a name, an email address and a password. Everything else — location, profession, skills, interests, photograph — is optional and can be added or removed at any time.

What we hold

Account details, your member profile, the community or chapter you connect to, your skills and interests, how you would like to participate, your communication preferences, and records of events you register for.

Who can see your profile

Profiles are private by default: only you and authorised administrators can see them. You may choose Community visibility, which shows your profile to signed-in members, or Public visibility, which allows selected information to appear publicly. Email addresses, phone numbers and account information are never shown on a profile.

How we use it

To connect you with your local community, tell you about relevant events and resources, and understand at an aggregate level where the network is growing. We do not sell member information.

Communications

You control which messages you receive from your settings. Optional communications are off unless you choose them, and every setting can be changed at any time.

Your rights

You may correct your information at any time and request deletion of your account from your settings. Data export and formal consent records are being prepared as the platform matures.

Security

Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes. Access to member data is enforced at the database level rather than by hiding controls in the interface, and profile photographs are stored in private storage.
